Keihl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser
So I tried the Keihl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser just recently and after using it for a good one month, I am here to give you my review on it.
The packaging is very Keihl-like, simple white and blue. Tube container holding 150ml of the product. The only thing I don’t like about this is the fact that the packaging is so bulky, it makes it difficult to carry it along on trips etc and you can not find a travel size option so basically for your travels need to buy another brand.
Deep pore daily cleanser is thick, greyish, milky paste-like texture. Looking at it I thought well it is not going to foam as much as the transparent gel-like cleansers do, but to my surprise, it lathers up quite well. The deep pore cleanser is a paste with minute granules for a mild scrub, however, these particles meltdown very fast on the skin and are very gentle on usage. It is made of Amazonian clay and contains Diatomaceous Earth particles for gentle exfoliation. I felt no discomfort using it on my skin which I feel using any granulated scrubs. It is so gentle that you can use it daily. The cleanser is no scented but it does carry its natural clay smell.
Another thing good to notice is that, if you have used any clay-based product you would know that the clay can be extremely drying on the skin, however, this is a non-striping formula as it claims. It will not leave your skin to high an dry, stripped of the natural oils.
In the case of the Deep pore daily cleanser, a little goes a long way. Even if you use it twice a day, the clay foams so well that you really need just a tiny bit per wash. So this will last you a very long time considering the price of the cleanser.
Keihl’s Deep pore cleanser claims to tighten the pores, cleansing the skin to remove the toxin from the skin surface.
This cleanser did not do a great job at tightening my open pores so much.
There nothing wrong with the product but nothing exceptional too. It is good to use as it lathers well, is gentle on the skin, gently exfoliates too, doesnt leave the skin dry after usage. But will i buy it again, probably not, because if I am looking for a product to tighten my pores this one doesnt really do that. I do not see any difference to my skin after continuous usage.
Deep Pore Daily Cleanser – $22.50, 5fl. oz.
Another face cleanser that I like is the Mary Kay dermabrasion, although it is so gentle on the skin, so have to use it with a light hand and occasionally. You can read more about it here.
Also another product from Keihl’s that I especially like is their Midnight Recovery Concentrate. You must try this.
